The Laja Falls (Spanish: Salto del Laja) in southern Chile consist of four spectacular waterfalls, each with a drop of around 35 metres. They are situated on the lower reaches of the Río Laja in the Biobío Region, some 25 kilometres north of the city of Los Ángeles and close to the Pan-American Highway. – Chile – 1975
