Description

  • Foto Number: TAS-199

Where people lived in the Neolithic period, they had to carry out numerous grinding processes: Seeds, dyes, pharmaceutical plants, etc. Therefore, where the rock allows it, one often finds round depressions that were used instead of portable grinding stones. This is the case with the settlement floor shown in the photo. Algeria - Tassili n'Ajjer - Ozeneare - 1993
