At the entrance to Enneri Blaka, a dry wadi in the Djado plateau in north-eastern Niger. It is located in the northern extension of the Kaouar Valley, which is known for its salt flats and oases such as Bilma. In its surroundings are numerous rock paintings and prehistoric relics, as well as a rock formation known as the "submarine". The Enneri Blaka ends in the large sand desert of Ténéré.
