The Adrar Oasis is of great beauty and is home to several historical monuments. The settlement of the region is quite old and the area has been home to different cultures. This intermingling has produced a number of traditions, cultural and craft practices that are still present in the lives of the inhabitants today and are reflected in the local folklore and cultural heritage. - Fantasia refers to various traditional horse spectacles simulating military attacks, practised mainly in the Maghreb, where they are called the "game of powder" (Goum) or the "game of horses". - Algeria - 1971
