The flat stone slabs of Tiratimine (Hoggar) at the site known as the "slave market" are still covered with banal Tifinagh inscriptions (e.g. "Salah loves Mabruka"), but mainly with sandal prints of a votive nature. Each imprint measures 25 to 30 centimetres. There we have an example of modern (and quite decadent!) survival of rock art. - Moudyr - Algeria - 1966
