Description

  • Foto Number: ARG-016

According to tradition, the tango, the Argentine national dance, was born in the 19th century in San Telmo, a district of the state capital. It was first adopted by young people of rather free morals, then by the sons of “good families”. The singer Carlos Gardel contributed to the spread of tango throughout the world. This artist is still present in all memories. The Argentines have a real cult for him. - 1973
